Dr. Luis López Bellido

PhD in Agricultural Engineering and Emeritus Professor of Agronomy at the University of Córdoba. He has developed an outstanding academic and scientific career, publishing numerous books and articles on topics related to agronomy, soil health, sustainability and productivity of agrosystems.

Salvador Samitier

Head of the Cross-Cutting Policies and Foreign Action Service of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food. Director of the Catalan Climate Change Office from 2009 to 2023. He holds a degree in Chemistry (specializing in Biochemistry) from the University of Barcelona. He also holds a Master's degree in Senior Management from the School of Public Administration of Catalonia and a diploma in European Affairs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Catalan ProEuropa Trust.

Dr. Diana Jiménez De Santiago

Agricultural engineer specializing in soils (Edaphology) and PhD in Agricultural and Food Science and Technology. She is currently a researcher at the BETA Technology Center (UVic-UCC), where she focuses on organic fertilization and its environmental impact. Her work focuses on the implementation of sustainable soil management strategies in agroecosystems in the Mediterranean basin, within the framework of collaborations with European institutions and projects.

Dr. Carlos Alberto Torres Guerrero

A biologist with a PhD in soil science, he specializes in soil fertility and sustainable management. He is a researcher at the Beta Technology Center in the Sustainability team, where he develops methodologies for carbon farming, soil health indicators, and ecosystem services.

Dr. Isabella Tomasi

Agricultural engineer and PhD in microbiology. As a consultant, she supports producers and researchers in agroecology in applying soil and plant regeneration techniques. She covers aspects of soil oxidation-reduction and microbiomes.

Dr. Amaia Nogales

PhD in Plant Biology and Researcher at IRTA (Institute of Agri-Food Research and Technology), specialized in plant biology and plant-microorganism interactions.

Dr. Xavier Domene Casadesús

PhD in Biology, Professor in Soil Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and researcher at CREAF.

Dr. Marc Viñas

PhD in Biology from the University of Barcelona and Researcher in the Biosystems Sustainability Program at IRTA. He specializes in environmental microbiology and biotechnology.

Dr. Felicidad de Herralde Traveria

PhD in Biology from the University of Barcelona and researcher in the IRTA Fruit Growing Program. She specializes in vine ecophysiology and adaptation to climate change.
